When the late and great Robert Kennedy finished visiting the Willowbrook institution for the mentally disabled; he made three very important points that I think need to be stressed.

First, he said that these mentally retarded were, “our fellow citizens that suffered tremendously.” Secondly, he said that such places “needed tremendous overhauling.” And finally, he said: “that all of us are at fault and it is long over due that something be done about it.”

The mentally disabled are not something outside of us, or other than us, or those kind of people. They are us. They are our family, our neighbors, our friends and co-workers family members, our fellow citizens here in America. They are our fellow man.

I think any loving parent wants the best for their children and if you saw the video on this web site, you can see that I have included some clips from a few documentaries about the care of the mentally disabled. Unfortunately, the neglect and abuse have been the norm. There needs to be a gold standard and that will be Sakura Home.

If we can spend billions and billions on military budgets, hundreds of millions on spectacular scientific telescopes and hundreds of billions on secret Black Budgets that go only God knows where it really goes, then; we should be able to spend millions on our fellow citizens who deserve to have a better life than what the late and great Robert Kennedy said was “a snake pit”, that many of our fellow citizens have had to endure.

Mr. Kennedy was right. A change is long over due and we can do better. So to fulfill the late and great Robert Kennedy’s desire I am going to create a high quality home for the mentally disabled so that I can tell Mr. Kennedy, when I get to the other side, that WE did something about it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I can’t do it by myself. I need your help because there is no - I in this project - only we. And everyone out there visiting this page is that we. As a society, as the human race, we can actually make a fantastic place for our fellow citizens, our fellow man, and for our friends and families loved ones.

I want them to have the assurance that they can peacefully know their precious loved one has a wonderful home that not only takes care of them - but loves them. Ladies and gentlemen, I need your help. So please donate anything you can. One cent, a dime, a quarter or just a dollar. Every penny counts. I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to look at this web page.

Sincerely,

Steve Elliott
